Qualifications-
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2–year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent). Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at BA/B.Sc./Senior Secondary level is admissible for SC/ST/ Differently abled Candidates. For this year only, a candidate with BA/B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and B.Ed qualification shall also be eligible for test for classes I to V, provided he/she undergoes, after appointment, an NCTE recognized 6–month special program in Elementary Education. |

hello friend,
TET stands for teacher eligibility test....... the candidate who wants to be teacher in government as well as private sector institutes and schools have to appear for the exam.... ELIGIBILITY FOR TET EXAM; >>you should have B.Ed degree with at least 60% >>your degree should not be of more than 7 years after appearing for the examination if you get more than 60% in the exam then you only consider as a TET pass otherwise you will be considered as fail......... for details see the attachment given.... |

Dear friend,
TET will be a compulsory and essential requirement for securing a teaching job in all types of schools. You must have a valid degree for B.Ed course. The certificate can not be more than 7 years old. There will be 2 papers with objective multiple choice questions. Each paper will consist of 150 questions. These papers are intended for different levels of teaching as described below. 1. Paper I: For those want to become teachers for classes I-V. 2. Paper II: For those want to teach classes between VI and VIII. 3. Paper I and II: Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear and qualify in both the papers. Age:- There is no upper age limit to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). 1. Child Development and Pedagogy 2. Mathematics 3. Environmental Study 4. Language I (medium of instruction) 5. Language II (chosen from a list other than language I) As specified above each section will have 30 questions of one mark each. Thanks |

eligibility for TET exam is........ =you must be B.Ed with minimum 60% marks =as an appearing candidate you can also apply =your degree must be of within 7 years in the exam you will have to secure minimum 60% marks to get TET pass..... if you get less than 60% then you can not get the pass.. thanks..... |

The minimum qualification for classes 1 to 5, Intermediate/Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and passed in 2 year Diploma in education (OR) Intermediate/Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed in 4 year Bachelor of Elementary education (Special Education). For classes 6 to 8, BA/BSC/BCOM and passed in 2 year Diploma in education (OR) BA/BSC/BCOM with at least 45% marks and passed in 1 year Bachelor in education (B Ed), (OR) Intermediate/Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed 4 year B. SC. Ed or B.A. Ed. Relaxation 5% for SC-ST-Differently abled candidates. |

My Dear.....
TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test. TET exam is conducted at state level by various state boards. In order to appear in TET exam you should have to complete your graduation from a recognized university and you must have B.Ed degree. There is no upper age limit for this exam. Also there is no limit for no. of attempts. You have to score minimum 60 percent in the TET test to qualify for teaching jobs. Exam pattern -: There are two papers with objective type questions. Each paper consist of 150 questions.These papers are for- >> Paper I: those who want to become teachers for classes I-V. >> Paper II: those who want to teach classes between VI and VIII. >> Paper I and II: For those who are interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear and qualify in both the papers. TET Stands for Teachers Eligibility Test. TET Exam is conducted by the respective state boards for the recruitment of Teachers in Governmental Schools/Colleges. The Eligibility Criteria for TET Exam are : * you must have completed your graduation from any recognized college/university. * you must have a minimum of 45% marks in graduation to be eligible to get into the merit list if passed in the written test. * There is no age limit for this exam. * You must have to secure a minimum of 60% marks to pass this examination. Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian elgibility test for teachers. The test is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. The test is conducted in order fulfill the achieve Right to education goals. Eligibility You should be Indian citizen. A graduation degree in any stream. At least 50 percent marks in graduation. A B.Ed degree is also required. There is no upper age limit for CTET. However there could be for state TET exams. You need to score 60 percent marks in the TET Exam to clear it. Candidates belonging to SC/ST need 55 percent marks. To apply for TET exam first you need to decide upon the state then wait for the official notification from the state government for TET exam. Follow the procedure mentioned in the notification to apply for the exam. All the best.......... |

Hi, TET - Teacher's Eligibility Test TET is necessary to qualify for candidates wishing to get job in government schools. TET has become mandatory in all the states now.Every state conducts it own TET exam. Eligibility for TET exam ~~ Candidate should have done graduation from recognized university. B.Ed. degree is mandatory for TET. Syllabus of TET ~~ There are 5 subjects, having multiple choice questions, in this exam - 1. Child Development and pedagogy 2. Language I 3. Language II 4. Mathematics 5. Environmental Studies The exam will be of 150 marks and will be for 90 Minutes. To qualify TET, candidate should achieve 60% marks . Hope it helps.. |

Eligibility for UP TET Exam--
TET exam conducted at state level by state boards. Candidates must have degree along with D.Ed for UPTET Primary level class I- V. Candidate should be graduate degree along with B.El.Ed for UP-TET High School level class VI- VIII. Candidate should have degree along with MA for Language Teacher Eligibility for Pre Primary Class I-V. Candidate should be Degree along with MA and B.Ed for Language Teacher Eligibility for High School level Class VI-VIII. Exam Fee- For general candidates 300, SC/ST Candidates have to pay 150. No fee for PWD Candidates. |

TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test. Any candidate who want to become a teacher in any government college, private college or in any institute, he /she must have cleared the TET exam.
For TET exam candidates must have completed B.Ed with at least 60 percent marks. Candidates who will attain at least 60 percent or more marks in TET exam is considered TET pass. |
