Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat (NIT Surat) offers 5-year
integrated M.Sc. Programmes in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Eligibility criteria is 10+2 with with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English from any recognized Board in India. Interested candidates will need to take the Common Admission Test for Sciences (CATS) conducted by the institute. This year, CATS is being conducted on June 27, 2010, and the last date of submitting application form is June 18, 2010 (17.00 hrs.). You will also need to submit a DD of Rs. 1000 (for Open & OBC categories) and Rs.500 (for SC/ST) drawn in favour of "The Director, SVNIT-Surat" and payable at Surat. |

The admission form can be downloaded from the official website of the institute, i.e. www.svnit.ac.in
The application form must be properly filled and attached with 1.A demand draft of Rs. 1000 for Open and OBC and of Rs 500 for Sc/St drawn in favour of " The Director, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat 2.Necessary marksheets and certificates must be sent to Chairman, Admission Commitee Applied Mathematics and Humanities Department S.V. National Institute of Technology, Surat - 395007 before June 18 2010. Eligibility: Higher Secondary or equivallent examination passed with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English Must obtain a rank if CATS (common admission test for science) conducted by the institute in the month of June 2010. After admission you need to register yourself in the course work with integrated M.Sc. Programme Coordinator during the days fixed by the Academy. |

Eligibility Criteria:- Candidate shall have passed Higher Secondary (10 + 2) or equivalent examination in Science stream with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English from any recognized Higher Secondary School Examination Board in India in 2009 and 2010. He should have a rank of Common Admission Test for Sciences (CATS) conducted by this Institute in the month of June, 2010. can a student change his course from integrated msc to B.E. after the end of first year???? i have not got a good aieee rank and am now trying for the msc course....if my acedemic performance is good at the end of the first year ,can i change over to B.E. degree course????

If you want to get admission in SVNIT, then you have passed 12th or equivalent examination in Science stream with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English from any recognized Higher Secondary School Examination and you have also appear the CATS entrance exams to get admission in M.sc, the exams are held on the month of June. I think you are somewhat bored from chemistry and looking for a change. You can either continue your chemistry by taking admission in MSc chemistry or you can go for MBA or courses related to mass communication and journalism. Hi,
You can apply for Five Years Integrated M.Sc. Programmes in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Students who have passed HSC/ Class XII (or equivalent) examination with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English from any recognized Board in India. |

If you want to take admission in svnit then the eligibilty criteria for this is you should have 12th passed with physics, chemistry, and mathematics from a recognised board or university with English, admission are held in the month of June, so you can apply and also see on http://www.svnit.ac.in.

The SVNIT is a central government engineering institutions and is one of the 30 NITs available in India. The admission to the institution is done on the basis of an entrance exam which is All Indian Engineering Entrance Examination, popularly known as AIEEE. The entrance exam is conducted by CBSE for admission to 30 NIT campuses, and many other government and private engineering colleges. The entrance examination is conducted in the month of April every year and the notification regarding the exam is published in November month of the earlier year.
