Eligibility to study BA Economics Honors in Punjab University?
I want to get admission in BA in Economic hons in Punjab University. I have just given class 12th exams HUMANITIES stream with Economics as one of my subjects. I am expecting to get above 95% in class 12th but I didn't opt for Math's neither in class 11th nor in class 12th. So am I eligible for admission in BA Economics (hons)?

Yes you are eligible for admission in BA Economics (hons) even though you don't had Maths neither in your class 11th nor in 12th class.
Punjab University offers five year Integrated programme in Economics B.A(Hons) followed by M.A(Hons). Eligibility requirement for this 5 year integrated programme: 60% marks in 10+2 for GENERAL/OBC candidates. 55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates. Candidate must not be above 20 year of age (22 years in case of SC/ST) as on 1st August of the year in which admission to the first semester is done. |
