The minimum qualification required to apply for probationary clerk post in SIB is graduation from a recognized university. The candidates from the science stream must have scored at least 55% marks and those from the Arts/other streams should have scored at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination. The aspirants must be proficient in computer operations. The upper age limit is 26 years. The applicants from general category have to pay a fee of Rs.250/- and those from reservation category have to pay Rs.50/- along with the application by means of DD favoring South Indian Bank payable at Mumbai.

To be eligible for the post of probationary clerk in State Bank of India a graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 40% is required. There is no restriction regarding the stream, being an engineering graduate, you too can apply provided you have got the minimum qualifying marks as mentioned above.
The age limit to apply for the same is from 18-28 years.
