Hi, I want to do Hotel Management course. So, which entrance exam do I need to write? Do I need to write CAT examination? Or, any other entrance exam is available specially for Hotel Management courses?

CAT stands for Common Admission Test. Indian Institute of Management conducts CAT exam for selection of candidates for Master of Business Administration. For admission in Hotel Management course, you need to apply for IIHM entrance exam.

Candidates who have 12th with at least 50% marks can apply for IIHM entrance exams. Some Hotel Management college take admission based on percentage of marks in 12th board exam also.

Admission to Hotel Management course is based on percentage of marks in 12th board examination or through entrance exam of Indian Institute of Hotel Management.

Eligibility for IIHM Entrance exam:

1. 12th passed from a recognized board in any stream with English as compulsory subjects.

2. Minimum of 50 % marks is required.

CAT exam is for MBA course not Hotel management course.
