Sir, can I get admission in BDS by giving MHT-CET examination in colleges in Mumbai? Or, is there any other entrance needed for BDS? Could you please update me about the entrance exam I need to write for admission in BDS in Mumbai?

BDS stands for Bachelor of Dental Sciences and to get admission in any medical college across to pursue the same degree course, you are required to qualify NEET(National Eligibility cum Entrance Test)-UG held by NTA as the same is examination has replaced all State CETs/PMTs and AIPMT for offering admission in undergraduate medical degree courses across any medical college in India except AIIMS.

Admission in BDS course is conducted after qualifying in NEET UG examination conducted by NTA.

The required eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th board examination with PCB as main paper.

There is no upper age limit to appear in the examination. So, you have to appear and qualify in NEET to get admission in BDS course.

Admission in MBBS and BDS course is offered after qualifying in the NEET.

NTA conducts NEET examination. Candidates after qualifying in NEET are eligible to get admission in government and private colleges on the basis of score in examination.

So, you can appear and qualify in the examination if want to get admission in the BDS course.

Admission in BDS course will be not on the basis of MH-CET.

Candidates have to appear and qualify in NEET to get admission in BDS course. It is conducted by NTA.
