Admission Date Application from eligible students for admission in MBBS course is invited every academic year which remains open until 15th Nov. Applicants are requested to submit their forms as early as possible. Applications received after this date is considered on a first come first serve basis in accordance with the availability of the seats in the college. Each applicant is considered on an individual basis and admission is determined by the concerned authority of the college. Age An applicant who has completed 17 years of age and has not crossed 25 years on the date of submission of his/her application is eligible to apply. Selection Criteria The selection of applicants is done by an a. Entrance Examination followed by an interview. b. Indian students needn't have any exam or interview. c. Nominees of His Majesty's Government of Nepal needn't have entrance exam or interview. d. IOM (TU) for Nepali Students. Physical Fitness Students who get admitted to the College undergo a Physical Fitness Examination which is conducted by the Medical Board of Physical Fitness Evaluation Team of the college. If physical disability, mental behavioral change or infectious ailment is found in a student, such a student is advised necessary plan of treatment. Academic Qualification An applicant with 10+2 years of education or Intermediate of Science or A Level, equivalent course of study with English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry as principal subjects with 50% or more marks in aggregate is eligible to apply for the MBBS course and for P.G. course one must have passed MBBS from recognized University and must be Registered to Medical Council. Tuition Fees for the whole academic session of MBBS is as follows: for Nepalese---- in one installment --- NRs. 20,00,000 Multiple installments--- at the time of admission--- NRs. 12,00,000 in d beginning of (nov.) 2nd year--NRs. 4,00,000 3rd year-NRs. 4,00,000 4th year--NRs. 4,00,000 University Registration, Examination and Medical Council Fees will be charged as per the rule of University. Registration and Admission Fees for MBBS course IRs. 20,500/- (US $515) and for P.G. course IRs 40,000/- (US $890) yearly. Caution Money IRS. 50,000/- (US $1250) refundable. Hostel Charges: Double Accommodation Room IRs. 17,000/- (US $430) per annum including electricity up to 30 units per months. Single Accommodation Room having attached bathroom with hot and cold water and small pantry facilities IRs. 23,000/- (US $580) per annum including electricity up to 40 units per month. Special Accommodation: Single Accommodation with attached bathroom and small kitchen, fully carpeted with facilities of A/c, refrigerator, hot and cold water and sofa IRS 33,000/- (US $830) per annum including free electricity up to 40 units per month. Food Charge IRs. 29,000/- (US $630) per annum or equivalent amount of money. free stucture may vary for diffrnt colleges.!!!! |

PLEASE GIVE TOTAL FEE STRUCTURE INCLUDING FOODING BOARDING AND LODGING IT IS ALSO I HAVE TO SAY THAT MY DAUGHTER CLEARED HER 10 2 FROM ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL, BENGDUBI, SILIGURI THIS YEAR AND MARKS OBTAINED 66,69,77 IN PCB RESPECTIVELY AND ALSO APPEARED IN AIPMT AND AFMC BUT SHE COULD NOT CLEAR. PLEASE ADVISE ME WHETHER SHE CAN GET ADMISSION IN BDS AS SHE IS INTERESTED FOR.

here i am providing you a attachment that will provide you all the details regarding the fee structure for BDS course in Nepal FEES AND EXPENSES Each candidate selected for admission shall have to pay the following fees and dues immediately after the announcement of the list of selected candidates, and after they are declared medically fit by the Medical Board, failing which his/her admission shall be cancelled and the candidate on the waiting list shall be admitted in his/her place in the respective programs. (a) Under Heavily Subsidized Tuition Fee Scheme (HSTFS) BDS Program 1. Admission fee( in Rs.) : First year : 10,000/- Second year : 10,000/- Third year : 10,000/- Fourth year : 10,000/- Fifth year : 5,000/- 2. Library Fee : 4,500/- per year 3. Laboratory Fee : 4,500/- per year 4. Student welfare fund (Identity Card, Games Fee) : 4,000/- per year 5. Tuition Fee : 5,400/- per month 6. Hostel Fee : 1,500/- per month 7. Hostel maintenance Fee : 4,000/- per year 8. a. Annual Examination Fee : 4,500/- per year b. Supplementary Examination Fee: 4,500/-(if applicable) 9. Field Program Fee : 6,000/- per year 10. Deposit (Refundable) : 15,000/- (one time) (for library, laboratory and telephone, etc.) 11. Health Insurance Premium* : 1,000/- per year (approx.) 12. Nepal Medical Council Fee : 3,000/- (one time) * Premium depends on the policy chosen for this purpose. (b) Under Partially Subsidized Tuition Fee Scheme (PSTFS) Candidates selected under this scheme should pay tuition fees Rs. 11,61,600/- in BDS course. MBBS Program BDS Program First Year Rs. 4.2 Lakhs Second Year Rs. 4.056 Lakhs Third Year Rs. Rs. 1.2 Lakh Fourth Year Rs. Rs. 1.2 Lakh Fifth Year Rs. Rs. 0.96 Lakh Rs. 11.616 Lakhs The first year tuition fee should be paid at the time of admission and others should be paid annually. All other fees and charges will remain same as specified above under heavily subsidized tuition fee scheme (HSTFS). The date of payment of fees is fixed. No extension in the date is allowed. (c) Under Full Tuition Fee Scheme (FTFS-only for SAARC/Non-SAARC students): i. Tuition Fee: The total tuition fees for the course period for candidate from the SAARC countries (Afghanistan, Bhutan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Nepal) for MBBS program is US $ 71,500 and for BDS program is US $ 33,000. Likewise, tuition fee for Non-SAARC candidates for MBBS program is US $ 82,500 and for BDS program is US $ 44,000. The fees should be paid annually as follows: SAARC Countries (FTFS) MBBS Program BDS Program First Year US $ 11,000 Second Year US $ 11,000 Third Year US $ 5,500 Fourth Year US $ 3,300 Fifth Year US $ 2,200 US $. 33,000 Non-SAARC Countries (FTFS) First Year U US $ 16,500 Second Year US $ 11,000 Third Year US $ 7,700 Fourth Year US $ 5,500 Fifth Year US $ 3,300 US $.44,000 Note : Tuition Fees for the Nepalese students if admitted under non-SAARC seats will be 10% less than the other nationals. ii. Other Fees: MBBS Program BDS Program 1. Admission fee First year : US $ 150 Second year : US $ 150 Third year : US $ 150 Fourth year : US $ 115 Fifth year : US $ 60 2. Library Fee : US $ 60 per year 3. Laboratory Fee : US $ 60 per year 4. Student welfare fund : US $ 60per year (Identity Card, Games Fee) 5. Hostel Fee : US $ 250 per year 6. Hostel maintenance Fee : US $ 60 per year 7. a. Annual Examination Fee : US $ 60 per year b. Supplementary Examination Fee: US $ 60 (if applicable) 8. Field Program Fee : US $ 70 per year 9. Deposit (Refundable) : US $ 500(one time) (one time) 10. Health Insurance Premium*: US $10 per year (approx.) 11. Nepal Medical Council Fee : US $ 50 (one time) US $ 50 (one time) * Premium depends on the policy chosen for this purpose. Special Offer: If a student from the SAARC & Non- SAARC Countries would like to pay the entire tuition fee and other charges at the time of admission a rebate of US $ 5,000 is given for BDS Program. Please note (All Tuition Fee Schemes): 1. The Governing Body of the Institute may change or review the fees and expenses. 2. The fee and other charges including hostel rent, once paid shall not be refunded if a student leaves the Institute for any reason. However, the deposit will be refunded after deducting 25% from it. Similarly, if a student has paid the advance tuition fee-installments and decides to leave the course in between, 25% of the paid amount will be deducted and the rest will be refunded in such cases. Tuition fee of the running installment-period will not be refunded. 3. Tuition fee & Hostel fee can be paid in 3 equal installments, the first being paid at the time of admission and at intervals not exceeding four months thereafter. All other fees should be paid at the time of admission. The last date of payment of fees must be strictly adhered to. No extension is possible unless an exceptional case by prior approval from the Registrar not extending a period of 15 days from the last date with payment of fine Rs. 100/- per day for the 2nd or 3rd installment. For further delay after 15 days the following fine shall be imposed: For HSTFS Rs. 150/- per day For PSTFS Rs. 250/- per day For FTFS Rs. 500/- per day For further default, the Registrar's decision is final. 4. Students not paying fees along with the mess charges on time will not be allowed to sit in the annual examination. Admit card for such students will not be issued. 5. Tuition Fee under PSTFS and all fees under FTFS should be paid annually. In case of failure to pay the fees in time, the Registrar may impose such penalty, as he/she considers appropriate. 6. Students of all schemes who have to repeat the academic year due to failure or any disciplinary action should pay fees as follows: a. Tuition Fee: 15% of the total tuition fee b. All other fees: 100% as mentioned in the prospectus |

Seats in the Management/NRI quotas are available in many medical colleges across India on first come, first served basis. The fee structure is a little higher that that of the regular seats.
