Are female candidates pursuing B.Sc IT eligible for joining Defence Services?
I am a girl candidate and have completed my Intermediate with Commerce + Information Practices and currently pursuing B.Sc IT. Am I eligible for Defence Services?

Yes, girls can appear for CDS examination for recruitment in OTA.
The eligiblility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline for a recognised university. The age limit is 19-25 years. The examination is conducted in two stages for final selection. For more information about the examination pattern and syllabus visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |
