What is the eligibility cruteria for female candidates to get into defence forces (both educational and physical)? Indian defence service for women

Female candidates are eligible to apply for Defence Service Examination. But you have a less no.of option to apply for Defence Services Examination. Minimum Required qualification to apply for Defence Service is that candidate should have a completed degree course from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.
NCC Special Entry :- You should have a completed degree course in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate (50% marks in reserved categories). Those who are appearing in the final year of degree course with 50% Marks may also eligible to apply. Both the Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply for NCC Special Entry Examination. You must have attained the age of 19 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years. No relaxation is applicable. One more thing you should have a NCC B Certificate in your college level or intermediate level and then only you are eligible to apply. This examination is conducted by Indian Army twice in a year CDS OTA (Officer Training Academy) :- You should have a completed degree course in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification. Any graduate candidate can apply for OTA examination. Both the Unmarried Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply for OTA Examination. You must have attained the age of 19 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years. No relaxation is applicable. This examination is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Twice in a year. |

For Indian Navy: UES SSC : The women candidates who has a age limit of 19-25 years of age and the education qualification of completed B.E/B.Tech degree in in naval architecture / Mechanical / Civil / Aeronautical / Metallurgical / Aerospace engineering and you should have got at least 60% aggregate in it. SSC Naval Architecture: The candidate appearing for this exam should have 21-25 years of age and the education qualification needed is that the candidate should have completed B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical OR M.Sc in Physics/Maths/Computer application with atleast 50% marks. For Indian Air Force: AFCAT: The AFCAT exam stands for Air Force Common Admission Test and this exam is conducted for candidates to join in Air Force and join in branches such as Ground Duty Branch,Flying Branch and Technical Branch There are certain criteria's which are needed for the exam and they are: # The candidate should have a Citizenship in India # The candidate should have a age limit of 20 to 23 years for Graduates, Post Graduates 20 to 25 years for Ground Duty Branch # The Education qualification needed for Ground Duty branch is that the candidate must have completed a Degree with 60% aggregate. # The candidate who wants to join in Flying Branch is that the candidate must have 19-23 years of age and the education qualification needed for the branch is that the candidate must have completed a Degree with Physics and Maths with 60% aggregate. # The candidate who wish to join in Technical Branch should have a age limit of 18-28 years of age and the Education qualification needed for the branch is that the candidate must have completed a 4 degree course with at least 60% aggregate. After Graduation , > The candidates can apply for the post of NCC WOMEN in Indian army Age shouldbe in between 19-26 for the post. The candidate shouldbe a citizen of India > The candidates can apply for the UES exam to join in Defence services UES - University entry scheme. > The candidates can apply for the CDS exam to join in defence services. To apply for the exam , the candidate shouldbe unmarried candidate. Age shouldbe in between 19-22 years to join in Navy Age shouldbe in between 19-23 years to join in Airforce Age shouldbe in between 19-24 years to join in Army Selection process is , 1) written exam 2) ssb interview 3) medical test |
