AIIMS MBBS exam dates for 2011

Important Dates (Tentative):

Date of Entrance examination: 1st week of June, 2011

Availability of application forms: mid week of February, 2011-mid of March, 2011

Last date for receipt of completed application form: fourth week of March, 2011

Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS MBBS:

To get admission in MBBS course in AIIMS a candidate has to pass class 12th with atleast 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST candidates the minimum aggregate required is 50%. Also a candidate should have attained the age of atleast 17 years by 31st December, 2011.

The notification for AIIMS (MBBS) exam 2011 has not been issued yet. It is expected to be issued in the month of february, 2011.

The tentative dates for the exam is as follows:

AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination - 1st June, 2011 (Tuesday)

AIIMS MBBS 2011 Result (to be declared) - 15th July, 2011

Age limit for appearing in AIMMS (MBBS) exam:
The candidate should have attained the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on 31st December of the year of exam.
There is no maximum age limit.

The forms are available from:

*Online registration : 15.02.2011 to 15.03.2011
*Offline registration : 15.02.2011 to 10.03.2011(By Post)
15.02.2011 to 15.03.2011(By Hand)

--The Application form for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam will be available after
15th February, 2011.
--You can also apply online after 15th February, 2011.
--The examination is scheduled to be held on 1st June, 2011.

2.AIIMS Off-line application form : The Prospectus-cum-Application Form can also be obtained by Speed Post/Registered Post by sending a crossed Bank Draft for 1050/- For General/OBC and 850/- for SC/ST category drawn in favour of the “Accounts Officer (Exams), AIIMS – MBBS-2011″.

Eligibility Criteria:

(i) Candidates who have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe
candidates) aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or whose results of Class-XII are likely to be declared by 7th July, 2011 are eligible to apply. (ii) The candidate should have attained the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on 31st December, 2011.
