GATE exam has validity of 2 years .

only in 2009 it had one tear validity but after that gate score card is valid for 2 years

YES GATE exam validity is for 1to 2 years. you can give GATE exam continously 2 years.
the GATE exam valide for 2 years after passing 2nd year you can apply for GATE exam in 3rd year and 4th year(B.tech).

The GATE examination score is valid for 2 year duration.

You can apply in colleges and companies on the basis of

your score in 2 consecutive years.

The GATE score card is valid for 2years. So you can appear from your 3rd year of engineering. this score card will be valid till you have passed your degree.
If you are applying in 2009 then this score card will be valid till 2011.

The GATE exam rank card valids for 2 years.So you can get any college through your rank card in the next year also.

the GATE score card is valid for two year. for GATE 2010 the result is published on 15th March,2010. now the score card is valid till 14th March of 2012. after that there will no value of the GATE 2010 score card.


only GATE 2009 had the validity of one years after that all GATE score is valid for two years. you may use the score card to take admission in master degree within these two years. third year student of engineering may also appear in GATE examination and if they qualify then they will be able to use their score card after the completion of engineering.

Before 2009 it was 1 year but from 2010 GATE score cards are validate consicutive 2 years from the exem year....

GATE exam is valid for 2 year from the date of announcement.
Only GATE-2009 exam was valid for 1 year.

GATE exams always change their criteria........
since from the last year the GATE exam score is valid for 2 years.........

you can apply to GATE either through online or offline.
online payment fees was Rs-800/- this year. and offline payment fees was Rs 1000/- this year .

Gate score valid for two years.
For only 2009 gate they changed the validity of the exam for one year.

In 2010 gate they cancelled this and increased to 2 years

Yes you can apply with gate 2010 score alone.

hii, GATE scores is valid to 2 years if you cant join this year you can show same score card for next year, no problem.

But now it is changed and the GATE score validity is 2 years.

GATE is the entrance exam to get admission for M.tech .any B.Tech/BE/M.Sc student with any percentage can apply for GATE as many times as possible .Because no age limitation,number of attempts restriction is mentioned in the criteria for GATE.The score card is valid for two years . Final and pre-final year students can apply for the exam .

I think GATE 2012 score is valid only for one year. In 2009 also the gate score was valid for 1 year.

Again they chnged to two years. But now it is valid for one year.
