Are gel pens allowed in SSC Board final exams?
Are gel pens allowed for SSC (Secondary School Certificate) Board class 10th final exams? Or, only ball pens are allowed? Can I use blue pens or only black pens are allowed?

Re: Are gel pens allowed in SSC Board final exams?
Yes, you are eligible to write the SSC examination with gel pen.
Candidates are eligible to use the pen in which they are more comfortable in writing. You can choose either blue or black pen. |

Gel pens are allowed in SSC Board final examination.
From 2019 board examination, CBSE has not allowed candidates to use black pens. You can use blue pens only. In other board, blue and black pens are allowed. |

Re: Are gel pens allowed in SSC Board final exams?
You can use any pen irrespective of type of pen, whether gel or ball.
Both are good as you are judged only on the basis of your writing skills. How well you give you answers and how neatly. Ball pens are considered over gel pens as they do not smudge easily and also your hard writing looks nice. You can use black to highlight important points or to write heading. Rest, you can continue with blue pen. |

It depends on you which brand to use. But mainly avoid using gel pens as the paper quality of the answer sheets in board exam is not that good so there are chances of ink getting smudged. Better way use black or blue ball pens.
