My aieee all india overall rank is 71760&category(gen.) rank is 51572.my state(bihar) overall rank is 5122 & category rank is 2289.which government college can i get?

It is fine that you have got rank of 71760 in AIEEE 2012. You chances of getting a seat on the basis of rank are quite positive and likely.

However, you must remember that your bachelor’s aggregate marks and specialization is also important to get you a seat in any college. You haven't even mentioned that. It is difficult to say precisely in which college you will get a seat as your question lacks detail information.

Most of the UGC recognized and deemed universities and recognized colleges require minimum 65% aggregate marks in higher secondary or equivalent from a recognized school/board to be eligible to apply for admission.

Very few engineering colleges are still taking admission as their seats for allotted branch/discipline is over. However, many reputed and recognized deemed universities/colleges are still taking admission in engineering. There are different branches in B.Tech- civil, mechanical, chemical, computer science and electronics, electrical, aeronautical, information technology, print, automobile engineering etc. You haven't even mentioned that you want to take admission in which branch/discipline of engineering. I would like to inform you that not all the colleges/universities offer all the branches of engineering courses.

but you must fill up the online couselling form...
you m=will not get a chance of any govt college in 1 st counselling..
but you may get a chance in govt college in the naext counselling lots..
to get a chance apply in online counselling..
then keep it in 'waiting ' position..
dont confirm...wait till last counselling..
you may get a chance in govt college..but you may not get a good stream..
