Eligibility Criteria For UGC NET


The University Grants Commission conducts the National Eligibility Test every year in the months of June and December..

A candidate is eligible for appearing for UGC NET Exam only if :-

>> The candidate has cleared his post graduation from a recognized University with an aggregate of 55% without rounding off..

>> If you are applying for JRF, then the candidate must be less than 28 years of age as on 1st June or 1st December, depending on the exam you are appearing for.. (no age restriction for lectureship)
