how to apply cbi officer??. pLease give me the details for the same

The CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation.

As you want to become CBI officer then let me tell you that is a good career to choice but you fulfill the eligibility for CBI officer is as follows.

** Candidates who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to appear for this exam.

** The Candidates must write the Union Public Service Commission Examination.

** The Candidates must be citizens of India.

** You must be at least 20 years at the time of applying.

** The SC/ST/OBC candidates must be at least 30 years when they apply.

My suggestion to you is that you give the examination conducted by CBI after clearing this examination you are eligible for the CBI Officer.

The exam is conducted in two phases

1. Preliminary exam

2. Main exam

** The candidates who crack the written test will be later called for a Physical Test and Interview.

To become a CBI officer exam, you should qualify in SSC CGL exam. So if you once completed SSC CGL Tier I and II and interview exam then you are eligible for Income Tax Officer.

Minimum qualification required to apply for this examination is completing a degree course from a recognized Institution.

Your age should be in between 21 to 27 years.

Age relaxation-

Upper age relaxation for OBC is upto 3 years.
For SC/ ST , it is upto 5 years.
For PWD it is upto 10 years.
