Here by Dr. Kulvinder, my actual date of birth is 8.08.1990 but due to some reasons it is 8.08.1987. Last year completed PhD but now I need it corrected for career point of view. Please help me in this regard.

As per the details available, you cannot change your date of birth as of now. You can make changes to your date of birth by 10th standard. Later on, you can change your date of birth if is incorrect in your 12th or other education documents.


In certain cases, changes are allowed in secondary and higher secondary mark sheet and certificate within 2 years after the year you have passed these classes.


You will not be able to change your date of birth as of now. However, if you have valid reason to do so then you can go to the court to start the legal process to change your date of birth. You must have valid documents to do so.
