You can appear for following entrance exams:-

UGC-NET
SET.
CISR.
TIFR.
And various other programs are there for which you can apply and scholarship and lectureership grant also.

if you want to pursue PhD and appylying for Research Grant then you must submit your project report to the concerned professor.he must be a reputed one.if it attracts then he may recommend your name to the institute for PhD.
