I am in class 12th i want to do BDO i want to know the step to become BDO

BDO stands for the Block Development Officer. This officer is responsible for management and administration of all activities that is done inside a block of a district.

In order to become BDO:

Step1 : First pursue your bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university.

Step 2: Appear for the State Civil Services examination of your state.

Step 3: Once you clear the different stages that is written and personal interview of the entrance exam of State civil services exam, you will become BDO depending upon your overall rank in the exam.

Final year candidates of bachelor's degree can also apply for the exam. The general age limit is 21-30 years. Reserved categories applicable to get relaxation.

The eligibility criteria required to apply for BDO post are as under :-

-The candidate must have cleared graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university of that State .

-The candidate age limit to apply for the exam should be from 21 years to 35 years .There will be relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates of reserved categories as per the Govt. rules .

I, SHUVAM GHOSH, STUDENT OF BSC HONS 1st YEAR IN MATHEMATICS AT RKMVC COLLEGE IN RAHARA. I HAVE MARKS 87.28% IN SECONDARY & 84% IN HIGH SECONDARY EXAMS.
I WANT TO BE A 1st CLASS WBCS OFFICER.I AM WORKING FOR THIS WITH HEART & SOUL .

BDO is Block Development Officer. The State Public Service Commission held Administrative Examination every year for the post of BDO.

The eligibility criteria to apply for the post of BDO

The candidates should have a graduation degree from a recognized university in any discipline. The final year candidates can also apply for this exam.

The candidates should be Indian citizen.

The age of the candidates should be between 21-30years. Age relaxation of 5 years is provided for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC years.

The Selection procedure is

Written Examination
Interview.

So, if you want to apply for BDO examination you need to have a graduation degree.
