For becoming CBI Officer, you have to appear for Combined Graduate Level Examination conducted by UPSC

You need to meet the following eligibility

- You should be a graduate
- you should have done your graduation from recognized college/institute
- you should have atleast 50% marks in your graduation
- Your age should be under 25 year
- Relaxation of 5 year for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC

The duration of Tier 1 exam is 2 hours. Its a objective exam and cover the following
- General Intelligence and reasoning
- General Awareness
- Numerical Ability
- English comprehensive

Tier 2
- English Language
- Comprehension

Tier 3
Interview and skill testing
