I did B.Com with Computer Application as my major subject. Am I eligible to become a Computer Science Teacher in government higher secondary schools or secondary schools to teach 9th and 10th standard candidates?

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for Teaching Jobs in Government Schools for 9th or 10th standard students.

However you are eligible for private schools.

In Government Schools/Colleges, Teaching job would be given purely through selection process which consists of written exam and candidates should complete B.Ed course to take that Entrance Exam.

Competition is for the Entrance Exam and one should have strong preparation to crack it.

There are people who are completely preparing for the Entrance Exams for 1 year to 2 years.

But once you get the job, your job is very cool. There is no work pressure.

On top of that, you will receive nice salaries and other benefits too.

My suggestion would be to get a job in private school or college and continue in the job. Along with this, also try for job in Government school.

Once you get the job in Government School, quit the existing job and go for it.

To become a Computer Teacher after B.Com with Computer Application:-

To teach computer science to the students firstly you have to get the specialisation in it and for that, it is essential to pursue post graduation in computer sciences.

After pursuing post-graduation you will become eligible to appear in the UGC NET Exam which is conducted by NTA.
