yaa you can become a developer of games in s/w field,the thing is that before step into this field you should have deep knowledge of c/c++,graphics,animations and most important is a language calle BRUE ,it a lanungae for developing games s/w.so learn all this and then you will definitely become a game developer

if you are a final year student then you must be certainly familiar with languages like html,c,c++.what next you have to do is master these languages and also learn some softwares like maya,3d studio.and if you can join any animation class then it will be very good

first you have good knowledge of programming languauge and graphics then you can become the game developer.for being,you can join any multimedia animation course.you can join arena.arena is the best academy for animation.

First, you need to make sure you have all of the following:
1) A computer - Your computer must be at least a mid-level machine, meaning it should be running faster than 1.2 GHZ. It also needs to have sufficient memory, a minimum of 1 GB RAM and 10 GB hard drive space. It doesn’t matter if you have a Mac or PC most of the time, at least for Flash development, as the software is cross-platform.

2) Algebra Skills - You need to be able to do simple algebra. It doesn’t take extremely hard math to start out in game development, and you will learn a lot on the way… but for now you just need to know at least Algebra. Any more math will get you much, much further though, especially if you know Trigonometry which is a major cornerstone.

Many video game developers have a background in computer science because it provides the knowledge in computer languages, a requirement for developing highly complex games.

Many game developers also learn complex programming languages through trial and error and through self-help using textbooks, and aid from websites that provide tutorials in programming.

by doing graduation in computer science and developing coding knowledge with some idea in animation you can become a software games developer

For become a Games Developer you can join Animation course through which you can develope animations of games.........

The preferred languages for game programmers are C and C++. I have no opinion on which is better, either one will take you far. If you are just getting started, and you haven't learned C or C++ yet, you can write games in another language. Lots of perfectly good games have been written in BASIC, Pascal, and Delphi. Years ago I wrote some pretty games in Fortran. It doesn't matter that much what language you use, as long as you have mastered it.

For becoming the software game developer You have to go to join any multimedia animation courses.

And you must have the complete knowledge of the programming knowledge and you must have command over the computer graphics.

Being an Engineer makes the way to Animation Industry much easier as compared to other degree holder.

yes for sure every student will get attracted to this gaming field because its really tempting as we play games and we know the tastes of the young minds

coming to your question the gaming industry than in our country its far good in countries like japan and canada in our country also we have lot of opportunities to try like some gaming gaints like Nvidia and EA games are keeping some contacts with some local companies of different countries so you can try those across the country

You want to become a software games developer.Generally in B.Tech there is no course for developing games in CS/IT.You have only the programming language which used to develop will be teach.So you have to develop games you must go for coaching institutes where you can apply your skills and apply for the jobs.
