Respected Sir/Madam, I have completed my 12th around 8 years ago. But I haven't taken my character certificate. Now, I want to join Police services and I need it. How can I apply for the character certificate now?

You can obtain from school where you have studied for 12th .You can obtain duplicate conduct certificate from old school if needed .
Moreover you need to write an application letter to the Principal for requesting character certificate /bonafide and do mention year of passing/leaving the school.

In order to get a character certificate, you have to visit your school or institution from where you passed your 12th class. Write an application regarding need of character certificate. Take signature of principal or in- charge head & submit it.
