In order to take Admission in MBBS your subjects in science stream should be Physics,Chemistry and Biology in 10+2.

After getting pass in 10+2 you will have to appear in CBSE NEET Exam for taking admission in MBBS Course.This is a common Medical Entrance Exam.
In order to appear in this Exam,you will require the following Eligibility:-

Educational qualification:-
>>You must be passed out in 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Biology from recognized board/university.

Age:-
>>Your minimum age should be 17 years.
>>Your age should not be above 25 years.

Marks:-
>>If you belong from the General category then your minimum marks should be 50%.
>>If you belong from the SC/ST/OBC then your minimum marks should be 40%.

Exam Syllabus:-

Physics - Total number of questions will be 45.
Chemistry - Total number of questions will be 45.
Biology(Botany and Zoology) - Total number of questions will be 90.

Total duration of this Exam will be 03 hours.

Hi,
After 12th if you are the student of biology then you should take up any Medical Entrance Examination.Only after that you will be eligible to do MBBS.

MBBS stands for the Bachelor of Medicine and surgery .In order to pursue this course you need to apply and clear some of the entrance exams conducted all over India.

One of the exams is the NEET that stands for the National Eligibility Entrance cum test.It is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary education for the MBBS and BDS program.

The eligibility criteria for the CBSE NEET exam is as below:

>>You must have passed the 10+2 or appearing for it from a recognized board with physics ,chemistry and biology as compulsory subjects.

>>The minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum age limit is 25 years.

Questions are from the biology (zoology and botany ),physics and chemistry and the duration of exam is 3 hours.

Other than these you can also appear for the other entrance exams like AIIMS and AFMC entrance exams for the MBBS programme.

Several private universities conduct their own examinations like SRM,VIT etc.Medical entrance examinations are also conducted at the state level.

In order to apply for this exam you need to fulfill the required eligibility criteria and visit the official websites of examinations for which you want to apply .From there you can know the important dates for the exams.

Hi,I'm from USA and I would like to study for medicine after 12 here,what can I do for it? How much years is MBBS so as MD in USA? And I would like to settle back in India after my college. If I do that will there be difference in medicine in India and USA? If I pass from 12 and get into a medical college how many years do I have left to get a doctorate job?I would like to take diabetician.
