You have to scored minimum 55% marks in your Post graduation to apply for NET Examination. If you are Pursuing M.com Course then you can choose "Commerce" Subject. The syllabus is properly available in the official website if UGC. You have to appear for 3 Individual papers and all papers are objective and conducted in same day in 2 session. All 3 papers is objective with no negative marking. The pattern was already changed and applicable already from June NET. The Notification of this year December NET Examination is going to be Published soon in the month of October this year and after Notification online registrations were started. The application form fees of NET is Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through challan form in SBI Bank. Please check the UGC Official website to get complete information about NET Examination. http://www.ugcnetonline.in SYLLABUS FOR NET COMMERCE: |

Re: How can I apply for NET SET exam by doing M.Com Part II
You can apply for the National Eligibility Test in the final year however only do so if you are sure of completing the course with minimum of 55 percent marks. You should not appear for UGC-NET unless you are sure of that.
In such case you should wait till completing the post graduation and then apply for the UGC-NET Exam. What would happen is that if you appeared for National Eligibility Test in the final year and failed to sure 55 percent marks, you will be disqualified and therefore won't be able to get the Lectureship in the college. This is what you should keep in your mind before applying. NET exam is conducted twice a year. You can appear for the exam in June or December. Please check the requirement below before applying. Eligibility 1. Candidate should be of Indian origin. Education 1. Post graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university. 2. Minimum of 55 percent marks in PG course. 3. There is 5 percent relaxation for SC/ST candidates. 4. Final year students may also apply for NET Exam. 5. Your subject for NET exam would be Commerce. Age Limit 1. The age limit for JRF is 28 years which is applicable to General category. 2. Age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC. 3. The age limit for SC/ST is relaxed by 5 years. 4. There is no upper age limit for Lectureship. How To Apply You can only apply for the UGC-NET exam online. Please wait for the official notification by the university Grants Commission after which you will be able to apply through this website - http://ugcnetonline.in/ After submitting the online application you will have to download the Bank Challan Performa and submit the application fee at any branch of State Bank of India. |
