I want to join Police service, wether CBI , IPS OR CID. I heard these all are same . I Really want to know the difference between these fields . What is the criteria ? I have checked the main offical site http://www.upsc.gov.in/ but I am not getting proper answers. I would like to know when the Police service exam will held , How we can study? Any particular site or contact details where we can get all the informations. I have completed my Grad and doing Master but both I have done correspondence. Please help me and suggest me how I can go for Police service exam.

Indian Police Service are appointed as Assistant Commissioner of Police, which in some states is called Assistant Superintendent of Police. to become ACP, you will have to qualify civil service exam, to be eligible for it, you should be a graduate from a recognized university.
The age limit to apply for the exam is 21-30 years, the maximum age limit is, as always, relaxed upto 5 years for candidates from Sc/St category and 3 years for OBC category. |
