To become an ACP you need to pass civil service examination conducted by
the UPSC. The pass outs of the central civil service examination conducted
by the UPSC are called IPS and Fresh IPS are appointed as ACP. For the
examination and subject details please search the UPSC web site.

there are various upsc exams providing various government jobs and upsc examination is the one through which you can become an officer or even an ACP. To know about its dates of examination you must keep an eye on employment news.

No, It is not tough to pass BUT YOU NEED TO BE MORE EMINENT AND INTELLIGENT to pass the the Examination. Your IQ and EQ should be at peek to clear the examination. So it wont be tough to a person who applies IQ and Smart work.

Hi,

After completing your course, You need to apply for the UPSC CSE examination conducted in the month of May. The notifcation and details of application for this Examination will be given in the Employment news in the month of January. Do keep checking the Employment news for notification.

The CSE Examination happens three phase, PRilims, Mains and Personality test.

On applying, You will appear for prilims inthe month of may. On clearing the Exam, You will be contacted by UPSC for further proceedings. So do prepare well and clear the prilims Exam.

Opt for IPS in the Mains application form for IPS Entry.

I am not getting you. Haven't you completed +2 ?!!. You should be a graduate to apply for CSE IPS Examination conducted by UPSC. Is that the course you pursuing is a graduate degree from a recognised University??!!. IS that a clear graduation rank?!!. If so, you are eligible. Check that. Very Important. Graduation in correspondance is not an Issue.

at the age of 30 yrs will i eligibile to join indian police for whatever the post ?

to join Indian Police as an ACP, you have give civil service exam.

and this exam is conducted by UPSC.

the minimum qualification require to attain the UPSC exam is graduation in any field from a recognized university.

and age limit is 21-29.

For IPS, You need to appear for UPSC CSE Examination. For this Examination, there are 22 subjects in Prilims for which you should choose 1 subject as optionals. For Mains, You have 27 subjects, In which you choose 2 optional subjects.

For being an IPS Officer one had to go through Civil Service Entrance Exams conducted by UPSC (http://www.upsc.gov.in).

It is conducted in 3 steps- 1) Preliminary, 2) MAins and 3) Interview.

After successful completion of all the 3 steps, once performance in respective stages and ther Fitness will decide weather one is going to be an IAS, IPS or any other central government Officer under Civil Service. And also it is not necessary that one will join as a ACP, one can also join as DSP/SP.

Educational Qualification: Is not much higher, it can be easily taken by anyone. Candidate must be a Graduate in any stream, science, engineering, arts or commerce or else. Niether there is any aggregate bar.

Yes there is age limit of candidate must be between 21-30 years, for General candidate which is relaxable upto 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for Deaf, Blind etc.

Tips: Only Hard Work and Systematic way of preparetion can get you in. One more thing "Presence of Mind" which can be gained by Mathematics.

Firstly you should know that at which level do you want to enter in Police ie as Constable, Sub-Inspector or as an Asst. Superintendent of Police (ASP) with any of the Policing agencies — IPS, State Police, CBI, BSF, ITBP and even CRPF. The most important factor to keep in mind while joining any of these agencies is physical fitness.
Selection Procedure:

-To enter as IPS officer, you need to clear the UPSC exam ie IAS exam.IPS officers in their 2-yr training at the Police Academy are taught management, law, leadership and supervision, among other things. Irrespective of their ranks, all candidates are trained to tackle terrorists, swim, ride and drive.

-For entry as Sub-Inspectors in BSF, ITBP, CRPF, CBI & CISF you have to take the exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
During your training period as a SI you will study forensic science and law, as your job will involve a fair amount of investigation. On the other hand, the training for constables focuses on outdoor activities to strengthen their endurance since they have to do a lot of field work – patrolling and picket duty.

The eligibility criteria for CSAT exam is as follows:
educational qualification: a bachelors degree from a recognised university.

Yes,you can join for IPS exam as any Graduate from a recognised university or a college in India is the minimum eligibility criteria for IPS.
He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing in the UPSC held Civil Services Examination.

UPSC conduct CIVILSERVICE exam for top service like IAS,IPS,IFS and for other government jobs.Even this year onwards the pattern of exam also changed as it doesnot have any special subject and the paper will be same for all the candidates.
