Hi,

To join CBI-Central Bureau of Investigation, you have to appear in CGPE{Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam} Test organized by SSC{Staff Selection Commission} once in a year.
Job profile in CBI for officer post

*Senior Public Prosecutor

*Sub-Inspector

*Assistant Public Prosecutor

Criteria for CBI:

~ You have to pass Bachelor degree coursein any specialization from a recognized Institute/University.(you have already)

~ Your age should be between 21 to 27 years (relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC in upper age limit).

Procedure to apply for CBI Exam:

Application available in2-modes->

*Online

*Offline
You can apply for this exam online by using SSC official website: http://ssc.nic.in

You have to go through three stage of CBI recruitment-> Written, Interview, Medical checkup
If you successfully pass these stages then you will be get posted as CBI Officer.

CID stands for Central Investigation Department.

CID Eligibility :

You must be a Citizen of Indian

You should have complete Degree or equivalent from a recognized University

you are age limit between 20 to 27 years

There is upper age relaxation is provided to SC/ST , PH , OBC candidates

Interview

Written Test carrying 400 Marks

General Test

General Intelligence & Reasoning

General Awareness

Numerical Ability

Interview carrying 100 Marks

English Language

CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department

The Criminal Investigation Department is a crime detection agency under the Government of India.

This exams conducted by Staff Selection Commission


Age Limit

20 to 27 years.

Age Relaxation

5 years for SC/ST candidates

3 years for OBC candidates

Education Qualification

you have completed their Graduation in Any Stream with at least 55% from Recognize Universities.

Selection Process

1.Written Test

2.Interview

3.Physical Fitness test


Syllabus

Tier-1

General Intelligence + Reasoning

General Awareness

Numerical Aptitude

English Comprehesion

Duration for 2 Hrs.

Total 200 Mark

Tire-2

Arithmetical Abilites

Hi Friend.....................

I am sorry, there is no chance to Join in CID with 10th standard

CID is one of the branches of state police. This branch comprise personals recruited from the state police itself and therefore, if you want to join it, you will need to be a part of the police department.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CID:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

You should have a degree from a recognised university. Actually qualification will depend on the level you want to join.

1. For constables it is 10+2th standard

2. For SI and other officers it is graduation.

3. For SI/ Officer level you have to qualify competitive examination. you need to qualify civil services for entry in IPS you can get posting in CID.

AGE LIMITATION:

You should have age in between 20 yrs to 25 yrs.

RANKS FOR CID:

* Detective constable ( DC or Det Con )

* Detective Sergent ( Ds or Det Sgt )

* Detective Inspector ( DI or Det Insp )

* Detective Chief Inspector ( DCI 0r Det Ch Insp )

* Dectective Superintendent ( DSI or Det Supt )

* Dective Chief Superintendent ( DCS or Det Ch Supt )

C.I.D i.e CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT exam is conducted by SSC and candidates are selected on the basis of CGL exam that happens in the month of APRIL and notification comes in the month of FEBRUARY .

ELIGIBILITY:
1.Must be citizen of INDIA
2.Candidate should be completed GRADUATION in any discipline from recognized university of INDIA.
3.% marks is no any criteria for this exam.
4.pursuing candidate may also apply.

DETAILS:
1.Age not be less than 20 years and not more than 27 year for general candidate.
2.3 year upper age relaxation for OBC candidate
3.5 year upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate.
