I have completed my 10th board exams and qualified in all subjects. I wanted to join in Indian Army at any post in any department. So, am I eligible for any post at any department? If yes, then how and when to apply?

On the basis of Class 10th education, you can join Indian Army as a Soldier (General Duty) or tradesman by qualifying their respective recruitment process which includes Recruitment rally followed by Common Entrance Examination.

Further, for the tradesman entry, you need to be an unmarried Indian male candidate with your age lying within 17.5 years to 23 years. Also, you are required to have completed your Class 10th with at least 33 marks in each subject.

While for entry as Soldier (General Duty), your age need to lie within 17.5 years to 21 years. Also, you need to have completed your Class 10th with at least 33% marks in each subject and 45% marks overall. Physical fitness is also must as per the service norms in both the cases.

You cannot join now in Indian Army, but you can join after passing 12th standard or while studying in 12th standard.
You can join Indian Army through NDA Exam. This exam is conducted by UPSC every year for recruiting candidates for Army, Navy, Air Force wing of NDA.
Application Forms of NDA are released in month of January and August every year. Upcoming NDA Exam (2) notifications will be released on 7th August 2019. Last date to apply is 3rd September 2019. And exam will be conducted on 17th November 2019.
