Re: Can I join Indian Army being an ITI holder on 10th basis?
No, you cannot join in Indian Army after completion of your ITI course because the minimum educational qualification required to join in Indian Army is completion of 12th standard or equivalent from a recognised board. To join in Indian Army, you need to appear in NDA examination which is conducted by UPSC twice a year.
Eligibility Criteria :- 1. You must be a citizen of India. 2. You must have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age of 19 years. 3. You must have completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognised board. 4. You must be an Unmarried Male candidate. Since, you have not completed 12th standard, you are not eligible to appear in NDA examination. Without appearing in NDA examination, you cannot join in Indian Army. |
