Institute of Cost Accounts of India (earlier known as Institute of Cost & Work Accounts of India)
conducts the Cost and Work Accounts course which is a correspondence kind of course.

The ICWAI course comprises of Foundation Course, Intermediate Course and Final Course.
One can register for the Foundation course after 10+2.
After passing Foundation course examination you become eligible to register for
Intermediate Course and after passing Intermediate Course examination, you can
register for Final course examination.
Apart from the exams you are supposed to undergo few short training and one 3-year
Practical Training in this field.
After passing all the examinations and trainings, you will be awarded CWA qualification.
If you are a graduate, then you are not at all required to register for Foundation Course.
You can directly register for Intermediate Course.

The total fee for the course is as under.
Foundation Course : Rs. 3,500/-
Intermediate Course : Rs. 15,700/- (Rs. 19,700/- if Oral Coaching is opted i.e.
Rs.4,000 extra for oral coaching)
Final Course : Rs. 11,000/- (Rs. 16,000/- if Oral Coaching is opted i.e.
Rs.4,000 extra for oral coaching)

Registration for the course remains open throughout the year.
You can register for the course anytime.

You can purchase registration form from the institue's head quarter or its regional offices.
