Hi, currently I am pursuing my 12th class from Arts stream. So, am I eligible to join Border Security Force (BSF)? If yes, then when and how should I apply? Any application charges? Any entrance required?

Following are the eligibility criteria for BSF selection
The age of the application must be between 18 to 23 years on 1 August there will be some relexation for the reserved category
The height for males is 170 cm and for females is 157 cm
The candidates will have to pass the physical efficiency test ,written test and a medical exam
To become a head constable candidate must be matric pass and 2 year ITI certificate in electronics or should have completed 10+2 with PCM from a recognised board
For other post the candidate must pass 12 from a recognised board in any stream
