Hi, I am currently 26 years old. Am I eligible to join Indian Army? What about Indian Navy and Indian Air Force? Am I eligible to join in of these 3 wings of Indian Defence?

Since your age is 26 years, so there are following commissions through which you can join Indian Army.

Law Graduates

• Age limit: 21 to 27 years
• Eligiblity: You shoud have completed LLB/LLM with at least 55% marks from a recognized college registered with Bar Council
• Training is done for 49 weeks in OTA, Chennai

Technical Graduate Course

• Age limit: 20 to 27 years
• Eligibility: Bachelor course in Engineering
• Training is done in IMA, Dehradun for 1 year

Short Service Technical Entry

• Age limit: 20 to 27 years
• Eligibility: Bachelor course in Engineering
• Training is done for 49 weeks in OTA, Chennai

Technical Graduate Course (Army Education Course)

• Age limit: 23 to 27 years
• Eligibility: MA/MSc. with 1st/2nd Div
• Training is done in IMA, Dehradun for 1 year

If you have already attained 26 years of age then I am sorry to inform you that there is no way for you to join regular defence forces; however, you can definitely apply for territorial army upto 40 years of age. For more information please visit jointterritorialarmy.gov.in

If you have 26 years sorry to say, you didn't join the Indian Army. But you can applied for Territorial Army up to 40 years.
