National security guard(nsg)is an organization that accept highly skilled and motivated individuals.
Its functions are to give vip protection,terrorism counter,hijack,piracy neutralization among other operations
To join nsg=complete the graduation level and join in india's defense force

-it is a govt agency so it does not train but the candidate should be a soldier or a member/trainee of the govt agency in order to be eligible to join nsg.
-you can join special action group(sag) or special rangers group(srg)=both are the division of nsg.
-ranks in nsg position=jr. Commissioned officer to team leader
-age limit=before 30 years.
-its a 2 years(minimum) of service
-should not have red-ink entry,
-no criminal record,
-no punishment record

JOB PROFILE

There are 2 types of Forces in NSG:
SRG(Special Ranger Group)- For protection of VIP's
SAG(Special Action Group)- For operations like Terrorist Attack, Rescue Operations, handling hijacking circumstances in land or on air, Bomb Disposal etc.

ELIGIBILITY

There is no direct recruitment for NSG commando.

NSGs are selected from Indian Defence Forces and Para Military Forces. The candidates have to prove their excellence in order to be selected for NSG.
Even those who are working in ITBP(Indo-Tibetian Border Police), BSF(Border Security Force), SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal), CISF(Central Industrial Security Forces), CRFP(Central Reserve Police Force), High grade officers in Police and Army can also be selection. The posting is on deputation basis.

AGE < 30 years.
Candidate shouldn't be involved in any mal-practices or any criminal record.


HOW TO BE ELIGIBLE

After GRADUATION >
Apply for UPSC's CDS or CPF examination. AGE 21-24 years. Website:http://www.upsc.gov.in/
Then you join the services and according to your work you might get your change at NSG.
You can give the civil services and go for IPS then a whole range of opportunities open for you.
PS: the current Director of NSG is an IPS Officer.

After 10+2 >
First step is to apply for NDA.

OR you can also clear the central police force exam and join CRPF. Again based on your work you will be selected for NSG.

how to join nsg after nda?

I am 13 years old but i have watched a lot of Intelligence movies and read books about them.
I know about many intelligence agencies like CIA,MI6,RAW,ISI,FSB,KGB,DGSE,MOSSAD,FBI,CBI,MI5 etc
But i want to join the NSG or Russian Militsia. As i am an indian citizen i would like to join the NSG (SAG)
as soon as possible. Please tell me how i can join. My uncle also works for the RAW.

u can join NSG first u go through with nda exam or direct entry i join indian army okk then u can joing in NSG
