How can we join Army as a Therapist after completing Bachelor's in Physiotherapy - BPT?
Hello Sir/Madam, I am a BPT student I wish to join Indian Army as a Physiotherapist. What is the procedure to join? Whether there is specific exam for joining as Therapist in Army?

--You can apply for all those Indian Army jobs, which require Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. You can surely apply for CDS examination, if you want to join Indian Army as an officer.
-- For Army/Navy/IAF:-First Write CDS exam which is a entrance exam for Indian Army . --For Para-Military Forces:- You have to qualify CAPF written exam and after that a Interview is held.you are allotted a service of your choice . --You also choose to be a part of IPS cadre after qualify UPSC. |

Hi,physiotherapist has got high value in today's world.
In the Indian Army it has limited scope after graduation in physiotherapy. For Army Navy you will have to write CDSE. Even then it will be a short service commission. This too will not be a medical cadres So for now army doesn't have medical entry for physiotherapist. So it better to join in a hospital,clinic,home visit and earn alot and gain good experience |
