Sir, I have completed my 10th around 16 years ago from UP Board. My father's name is incorrect in the certificate. Please tell me how can I correct my father's name in my certificate?

As, you have completed your std 10th 16 years ago, it is more than a decade.

So, it will be tough to get correction made in the certificate.

But, still you can visit the official or regional head office of the board for the correction along with documents which will justify your claim.

1. Contact to the regional office of the Council.
2. Write an application that you want to correct your Father's name in the marksheet of
class 12th and submit it to the concerned person.
3. Submit a copy of your father's Identity which has corrected name.
