one should be very good in his subject to crack the exam. You should cover all the topics very well from some good books. If you want crac kIES you read every topics deeply.if you read syllabus topic deeply you can crack IES.it is important that topic you read study them deeply.

IES is one of the toughest entrance exams in India.
Its very hard to crack. Its better to start preparation for IES from the 2nd year of your b.tech... because IES consists of a vast syllabus... study your course books thoroughly because you will learn the basics there... and I can provide you the names of some books which you can consider: Guide for IES mechanical engg by Mittal GKP UPSC IES engg scores exam solved paper in mechanical engg. its not easy to crack the ies u should have a very deep knowledge of your subjects so firstly u should try clear your coccepts of your subjects and about books every books have the same matter so from any book u can study for ies and at last correspondance course of iesmadeeasy is very useful to the exam.
