Dear sir, i need to do diploma in mechanical with aicte approved university in distance mode.

AICTE stands for All India Council for Technical Education. AICTE has not approved any distance course in diploma in engineering and bachelor's degree in engineering. There are many engineering colleges which offers distance and part time diploma but they are not valid.
You must apply for entrance examination for admission in regular diploma. State Technical Education conducts entrance examination for admission of diploma candidates. Once you have done diploma, you can apply for Lateral Entry Entrance Test to get admission directly in second year of engineering. |
