As you belong to the commerce, educational background, therefore you cannot go for engineering directly after 10+2. Mathematics is a compulsory subject to go for engineering. So to do engineering after 12th, you must be in PCM background.

But still there is the possibility to become an engineer if you have passed your high school i.e. 10th in Science and Maths. This will give you an opportunity to become engineer as you can go for Polytechnique diploma in engineering after 10th.

Therefore, if you have passed your 10th class board exams in Science and Maths, then you are eligible to apply for Diploma in Engineering through Polytechnique. After completing 3 year diploma in engineering, you can get a lateral entry in B. Tech 2nd year. This is the procedure to become an engineer even after having commerce in 10+2.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
