i want 2 join mba in amet after finishing my b.sc mathematics..what are the qualification i need to join in that college??

MBA stands for Master of Business Administration. This is a 2 year Management related course being offered by many of the colleges all over India.

In present situation, many of the candidates are preferring to join MBA course irrespective of their stream in Graduation.

This is because of the job opportunities that are being offered by MBA course to the candidates.

Here is the eligibility criteria to join MBA course.

Academic Qualification :
One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream with a minimum of 50% of marks.
Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC or ST category.

There is no upper age limit for the candidates to join this course. One can join this course at any age.

Your qualification will be sufficient enough to apply for the Master of Business Administration. The MBA can be studied after completing graduation. The Bachelor of Science degree is acceptable for MBA course.

Therefore you have nothing to worry about. However having graduation degree alone will not get you admission in college. You will still have to appear for the entrance exam. Some of the exams are:

CAT Eligibility

1. Education: Graduation degree from a valid college.

2. Marks: 50 percent in graduation required for General and OBC.

3. Relaxation: 5% for SC and ST.


There are various other options for candidates with low percentage. For example you can appear for Management Aptitude Test. It has no percentage requirement and therefore you can appear with just having passed graduation.

Various state level entrance exams also have no percentage criteria. It could be possible that you want to complete MBA from foreign university. In such case you should appear for the GMAT.

You should attend entrance exams like CAT, IIFT, MAT, XAT, JMET, SNAP, IBSAT

for mba you must be a graduate in any stream,

CAT is considered as best exam for mba as it is conducted by highly reputed indian institute of management,

eligibility for CAT
1. graduation from a recognised college
2.minimum 50 % marks in graduation for obc and general candidate,
3.5% relation allowed only to sc/st candidate,

Duration : 2 years includes 4 semesters

After msc many prefers to do MBA as they have strong maths base.

MBA is a Post Graduation Course and can be done after completing your Graduation.
There are many Institutes and Universities offering this two year course.


Selection procedure for the MBA course involves:
>> Written Test
>> Group Discussion
>> Interviews


MBA written Tests that you can appear are:

MAT- Minimum Eligibilty to apply is Graduation pass.This test is conducted by AIMA.

CAT- Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass with minimum 50% marks for general and OBC candidates and 45% marks for the SC/ST candidates.

SNAP- This exam is conducted by Symbiosis, Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass with minimum 50% marks.

XAT- Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass

To get calls from Good MBA colleges you have to get atleast 95 percentile marks in the all these written tests.

After this you would be called by colleges for the next rounds that is Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
