it is better to do pharmD or m-pharmacy after b-pharmacy?

After completion of your B.Pharm, You can opt either M.Pharm or Pharm D. Job Roles after both the course are almost same in India. In Abroad, Pharm D is most preferred by recruiters as compare with M.Pharm. Both courses are also different in respect of some points.

Difference Between Pharm D and M.Pharm
- Pharm D is a post-baccalaureate course having duration of 3 years after B.Pharm. M.Pharm is of 2 year duration course.
- Pharm D is a higher degree than M.Pharm. Pharm D is PG doctorate level course whereas M.Pharm is master level course.
- After Pharm D, You will get title doctor (Dr.) whereas after M.Pharm, You will get only degree of master's.
- In Abroad, Pharm D is a minimum qualification to work as a pharmacist and mostly preferred as compare with M.Pharm.
- Pharm D focuses on Fundamentals of Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy, Healthcare Studies, Pharmacy Practices and Pharmacy Care etc. M.Pharm focuses on Drug Manufacturing, Research, Quality Control and General Pharmacy Studies etc.
