How To Get Into IIT For M.Sc.

For pursuing a course in any Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) a candidate must appear for and clear the IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test) which is conducted by all the IITs for admissions to the Masters in Science programs..

I have also attached some of the previous year questions of IIT JAM Physics along with this post so that you can go through them and acquaint yourself with the level of the questions asked and prepare accordingly..

A candidate must have completed his Bachelor's degree in the respective stream and must have secured at least 55% marks..

Candidates belonging to the reserved categories must have secured at least 50%..

The exam will be of 3 hours duration and the paper will be 30% objective and 70% subjective..

*relaxation to SC/ST up to 5%
