Important Dates (Tentative) For AIIMS: -

1. Date of Entrance examination = June 05, 2011

2. Availability of application forms = February 15, 2011 to March 21, 2011

3. Last date for receipt of completed application form = March 31, 2011

o ONLINE APPLICATION- online application was available on the official website of aims that is www.aiimsexams.org.
o Offline –the prospectus cum application form was also available by sending a crossed bank draft of Rs. 1050 for general/obc and 850 for sc/st .

The last of submission of online and offline application form for the
AIIMS exam has been closed.

So you are not eligible to apply for the AIIMS examination for this year.
So its better to apply for the AIIMS exam next year as the last date
of submission of AIIMS application form is now closed.

eligibility criterion- candidate who have passed 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and have minimum of 60% marks for general category candidate are eligible for the examination. there is 10% marks relaxation for SC/ST candidate. the student who are appearing 12th examination this year and the result are likely to be declared by 7th July, 2011 are also eligible for the entrance examination.

the candidate should have minimum of 17 years age on 31st December, 2011



the application fee with prospectus is Rs.1000/- fir general category candidate. for SC/ST candidate the cost is Rs.800/-



candidate may apply for the examination in two way.
Online application and Offline application.

The last dates according to the notification released for applying for the online form was:15th March 2011.

Now the dates have surpassed and you cannot apply now.

So I suggest that you better be on the lookout for the next years application form so that you dont miss the bus again!

The last date of applying application form is over today. If you not fill the application form then you miss AIIMS exam this year. The last date was 15/3/2011. If you want to more information please see the official website of AIIMS.

The candidate can pay the application fee through a credit card/debit card or through challan of State Bank of India. Transaction Processing Fee at the following rates will be payable to the Bank (Only for On-line Applications)
Amex Credit Card, Diners Credit Card 4% of the Transaction amount
Visa & MasterCard Credit/Debit Cards and Net Banking 2.5% of the Transaction amount
On Cash through Challan at any Branch of State Bank of India - Rs. 25/- (or as applicable)


B) Off-line : The Prospectus-cum-Application Form can also be obtained by Speed Post/Registered Post by sending a written request with an account payee Bank Demand Draft of Rs.1050/- (Rs.850/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of ACCOUNTS OFFICER (EXAMS), AIIMS payable at New Delhi. The Bank Draft should be valid up to July/August 2011. The name of the course applied for must be written on reverse of the Demand Draft alongwith candidate’s name. The request must reach the Assistant Controller of Examinations, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi – 110 608 on or before 10.03.2011.
