How to get a seat in NIT after scoring 7323 rank in GATE?
My son got 7323 rank in GATE 2013 what are the possibilities of getting seat in NIT AND no of SEATS AVAILABLE in IITs & NITs

You have scored average rank in GATE exam. You have a good chance to get admission in any NIT. You have to enroll your participation in online counseling to get confirmation about admission in NIT. If you get a seat in counseling result then you have to visit the campus for completing remaining admission formalities.
Here are some tentative figure of number of seats in IIT for various disciplines: Computer Science and Engineering: 471 Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 724 Civil Engineering: 495 Chemical Engineering: 277 Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science 25 Mechanical Engineering: 567 |
