Could anybody suggest me "do I got any seat in NIT Rourkela with rank 48000 AIR with OBC category and state qouta ORISSA"

as NIT rourkela is one of the reputed NITs of India . so you must have a good score to take admission in it.

generally to get admission in this college your rank must be between 1 to 7000.

but the figures vary every year so you should attend the counseling.

Although you belong from OBC category, but it is very tough to get chance in NIT Raurkela,as to get admission there , you have to secure rank upto 16000 to 20000.Your rank is very high so i am sorry to say that it is difficult for you to get admission there.

Is the seat increased in nit rkl in 2010?

i have got 494 rank in st catagory of state catagory.will i get a seat in nit rourkela?

my rank in 45000 overall & in catgory obc my rank is 10321 can i get nit allahabad or nit jamshedpur or Rourkela

No it is not possible to get NIT rourkela with your rank unless you have any quota.

You can try for other good colleges in Orissa such as SILICON CVR NIST OEC TRIDENT

hey, it will be better to see aieee last year opening closing rank. i think u have an oppertunity to get nit rourkela

my all India rank is 23049 can i get a seat in nit Rourkela my state rank is 422 in general !

yah this year dual degree was introduced and haan it got increased

Yes you may get seat at NIT Rourkela at this rank.
You may get Biotechnology or Biomedical Engineering at this college...

sorry friend, you cannot get NIT ROURKELA with is rank. as this institute is very reputed one of the india . for getting this one you must have rank atleast under 5000 (AIR) .

as your rank is 48000, you can get NIT ROURKELA easily if you are having any category

if you are from general category then you may get dual degrees in NIT ROURKELA

yes i think you can get a seat in the Msc. integrated course at NIT roulkela.No other branch is possible with this rank.In aieee 2010 the closing rank for NIT roulkela ws 47,000.this year maybe the rank vary.But make sure to attend all the councelling rounds for aieee..dont lose hope
