i want my career in army..i am graduate in discipline course..
tell me the way.

Hi,

it is good to know that you are interested in indian army which is one of the powerful army forces of the world and provides employment to half of the citizen in india to protect our country.


Eligibility to join indian army:
• first and foremost requirement to join indian army is that one should be an
indian citizen.
• one should be at least 18 years and above to serve in any post of indian army.

• the education qualification to join any indian army commission should be
minimum of 10+2 which later includes graduation, post graduation and more


graduates (direct entry)


the upsc holds an all-india competitive examination, known as the combined defense services examination (cdse), twice a year for university graduates or equivalent.

Engineering graduates (direct entry):-


an engineering graduate can join the indian military academy directly. They only need to attend the service selection board interview. Age at the time of joining should be between 20-27 years.students who are in final and pre-final years of engineering degree course can also apply to indian army as an officer. They are eligible for induction into technical branches/services of the army as commissioned officers under the university entry scheme. Age should be between 19-25 years for final year engineering students.

University entry scheme:-

Age:-

-age should be between 19-25 years .

-for final year engineering students and 18-24 for pre-final year engineering students. Month of commencement of course in each year is july. Selection is based on campus interview and service selection board (ssb) interview. Applications should be sent in response to the advertisement published in july.


Medical procedure:-

• medical fitness is one of the important requirements to join indian army.

• candidate would undergo thorough medical check up for qualifying any post of indian army.

After completing graduation you can join army. Mainly there are 4 ways through which you can join. You can opt for the Combined Defense service exam (CDS) or you can opt for the Short service commission SSC) for the technical entry. There is also a Technical graduate commission and entry through university entry scheme. The candidates should attend the written examination for the option where they fulfill all the requirements.

you can give the National Defense Academy (NDA) exam..but for that you should have god physical health and should have a perfect eyesight..
then you can join the indian army..
