I complete graduation.But I drop 2nd year. so I went exam to be a bdo

Interests outside BDO
I would consider myself a keen golfer, despite my performance seldom living up to my expectations! I also play 5-a-side football on a regular basis.

BDO is Block Development Officers.

BDOs are recruited by State Public Service Commission and you must have the required qualification if you want to apply for it.

The basic qualification for BDO is Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.

The age limit for BDO is 21 to 33 years for General Category candidates.

There is age relaxation available for other categories:

SC/ST Category - 5 years relaxation

OBC Category - 3 years relaxation

The selection procedure for BDOs will be through a examination which will have following stages:

-Preliminary Examination

-Mains Examination

-Interview

You must be very well prepared for the above stages if you want to become a BDO. The appointment will be based on the merit list prepared after the above examination.

No you will not be eligible to appear in BDO Exam.This exam is taken by State staff selection commission.

The basic eligibility required for appearing in this exam are :-

Educational qualification
~You should have a bachelor degree in Arts/Science/Commerce.
~Your degree should be approved from the recognized university.

Age
~Your minimum age should be 18 years.
~Your age should not be above 35 years.

Marks
~If you belong from the General/OBC Category - 55% marks in Graduation.
~If you belong from the SC/ST Category - 45% marks in Graduation.

Age relaxation
~You will only able to get the age relaxation facility if you comes under the reserved category/Minority group.
~All reserved category will get age relaxation of 3 years.

Exam Pattern
~Two paper each include 100 marks.
~Each paper will be of 3 hours.
~Each paper will be of 300 marks.

Syllabus

Paper I
~English Language.
~General Knowledge.
~Logical Reasoning.
~Hindi Language.

Paper II
~Indian History and Geography.
~Indian Politics and its governments.
~Environmental studies.
~Ecology and Sociology.

I am in B.Sc. 2nd year with chemistry hons. I want to know how can I be a B.D.O

I am a zoology student 2nd yr in culcutta university. I want to bdo. plz tell me details the syllabus of bdo.??

I like Bdo but now i study in class 11, Anyway i promise when i complet my study so i join Bdo so wait me.......
