In order to be considered eligible for Sub-Inspector in West Bengal Police, you must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:


Must have qualified Bachelors Degree examination from a recognized university.
Must be able to Read, Write and Speak Bengali
Must have attained the age of 20 years.
Must not be over 27 years of age.
Must have a minimum height of 1.67m.
Must have the minimum weight of 51.5 kg.


The Entrance Examination comprise of the following stages:

Preliminary Examination
Final Examination
Personality Test

The selection procedure is carried out by West Bengal Police Recruitment Board and for further information, refer to its official website.
