If a student change the stream from science to commerce in XI, after spending one year in science in XI. Then he clears the XI commerce in first attempt. Then while filling out the application form for B. Com. The question is: One column in application form ask for the number of attempts made in XI, now how many attempts he would write, one or two?

See there is no limit to clear class XI examination. Since the scrutiny is done by the school teachers itself. Basically class XI is nothing but preparing for the Senior Secondary Board examination. The lesser you will fail in the school the more time you will have in your future and also the thing that you have mentioned the number of attempts its just the knowledge that authority wants to know how you are as a student. Its better to clear class XI at one attempt rather than thinking of number of chances you will get to clear. At the end you will save your year by clearing class XI at one attempt. But in general school allows two attempt to clear class XI before sending to the Board examination.
