The IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test) is conducted every year by the IIT for admission to various courses in the IITs for the M.Sc. degree in the following streams :-

Biotechnology
Chemistry
Physics
Computer Applications
Geophysics
Geology
Mathematics
Statistical Mathematics


You will find some of the latest exam papers of IIT JAM Computer Applications in the attachments..

The paper consists of 100 questions each carrying 3 marks each and you get -1 for every wrong answer..

The paper will be objective type with 4 options available for each question and out of which only 1 will be correct..

The time duration for the exam is 3 hours..

So, if you manage to get about 50 questions correct without any negatives then you have a fair chance of getting selected..

dont worry you can easily crack the exam of IIT JAM because it is not so difficult as you are assuming. for any person to pass to any exam atleast 50 percent marks are required thats what statistics show. this exam is of 300 marks of 3 hours duration but there is negative marking also so be careful about that while answering the questions. so in order to pass this exam you must atleast score 50 percent=150 marks . if you are weak in maths , try to give more time to it and practice hard .best of luck.
