How many seats are available for NRI students in MBBS course?


My daughter is now studying in 7th std in Kuwait.She was born in tanjore as her native place also she studied till 3rd std in tanjore. She would like to take MBBS in future as her course. So when she has to leave kuwait and how long should she study in school in tamilnadu to get a government medical seat in tamil nadu? SO please send your reply.

30 to 40 seats will be there for NRI students in MBBS course. These seats are different from different states that is based on the state govt rule.

i don't know exactly how many NRI quota seats are available...as sometimes they vary...

but I know about 13 government-funded medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh which have NRI quota :

Government medical college, Anantapur
Guntur Medical College, Guntur
Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam
Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Srikakulam
Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, Gundala
Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad
Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad
Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Adilabad
